Daniel Faggella founded Emerj Artificial Intelligence Research, a B2B market-research firm built on direct interviews with enterprise AI leadership rather than on vendor surveys. His focus is narrow and useful: where AI actually produces return in regulated, capital-heavy industries — financial services, insurance, security — as opposed to where it demos well.
He was the original host of Emerj's AI in Business podcast and has conducted, by Emerj's own count, more than 1,500 interviews over a decade; Emerj also describes it as the leading B2B AI podcast with over seven million lifetime downloads. Those are the firm's own figures. He is listed as an AI expert by the OECD's AI Policy Observatory, and his own biography cites speaking engagements for the World Bank, the United Nations and INTERPOL.
There is a second, separate Faggella that businesses evaluating him should know about. At danfaggella.com he writes on what he calls the "Worthy Successor" — a long-horizon philosophical argument about what should follow humanity, which is a very different register from enterprise ROI research. Neither invalidates the other, but the two bodies of work attract different audiences and it is worth knowing which one you are engaging.
